All results, adjudication diagrams, claims and NOTICE OF POSTPONED MATCHES MUST be received by the Recorder within TEN DAYS of the match. Email or first class post should be used.
Some polite requests
Captains occasionally know in advance that they are going to default a board.
In such instances, it is only courteous to the opposition that the captain informs
his opposite number. In doing so, a player can be saved a wasted journey.
If a team has to default a match, the opposing captain should be notified as soon
as possible so that he has the maximum amount of time to inform his players.
Both captains must inform the Senior Recorder about the match default.
All captains are requested to send in their match results and adjudication claims using the usual forms. Please do not use odd scraps of paper (if reporting by post) or a simple email message (which does not always format properly).
These simple courtesies can help to ensure that this League remains a friendly League where sharp practice and ill feeling are kept to an absolute minimum. Thank you all for your co-operation in this matter.
